Welcome to the UNISA Library Partnerships LibGuide. This guide provides an overview of the collaborative efforts between UNISA Regional Branch Libraries and various partner institutions, including public libraries, correctional services, and international partners in countries such as Lesotho and Ethiopia.

Purpose and scope

The purpose of Unisa Library partnerships is to:

Enhance accessibility for students in remote areas.

Provide digital and physical resources through municipal and public libraries.

Support lifelong learning by integrating library services into community spaces.

The scope of these partnerships includes:

Collaborations with local libraries to offer study spaces, internet access, and research assistance to Unisa students.

Provides students with access to library facilities and academic support.

Ensure that students can access Unisa’s online catalog, e-journals, and databases remotely.
