Quick guide to e-Journal finder

   If you would like to check if any articles you are interested in are available in full text, please use our E-journalspage.

-        You will be prompted for the journal title:

  Please do not search for the article title use the journal title

  e.g. If you are looking for the article The Graduate Attributes We’ve Overlooked published in the journal Higher Education Research,  and Development, volume 28 2009 you must search for Higher Education Research,  and Development

-        If we do have the journal available electronically you will be presented with the databases the journal can be found in:

-   You then check to see the coverage of the databases listed.

For an example on Taylor & Francis Online coverage is from 1997 to present   while on ProQuest Central and ProQuest Education Journals coverage is from 02/01/2005 to 06/30/2007.

 ProQuest Central and ProQuest Education Journals will not have the article as the journal coverage ends in 06/30/2007.

 Our article was published in 2009, the first listed databases Taylor & Francis Online will have the article.       

Then you click on the database title which is Taylor & Francis Online.

-        You will then be taken to the journal homepage

-        You can now enter the article title (The Graduate Attributes We’ve Overlooked) or search by volume and/or year of publication (volume 28, 2009)

-        If the article is available you will be presented with the link to the full text, usually indicated as full text or PDF full text
