Welcome to the KwaZulu-Natal Regional Library Services
The Kwa-Zulu Natal Region consists of two libraries, the Durban Library situated in the heart of Durban, in Simiso Nkwanyana Building, Stalwart Simelane Street, & and the Pietermaritzburg Library in the capital of KZN Pietermaritzburg, in Langalibalele Street.
The libraries house over 30 000 prescribed & recommended information resources, and 50 computers for students to access and download electronic resources including e-books & perform literature searches and research work.
The aim of this page is to introduce clients to the variety of library services the regional libraries offer and create easy platforms of accessibility.
Our variety of services are aimed at supporting students’ academic needs including research support and training, the libraries also provide services tailored for clients with special needs.
