Welcome to the Unisa Eastern Cape Regional Library Services

The Eastern Cape consist of two libraries, the state of the art Phyllis Ntantala Collaborative Library in East London a merger between 2 historic universities ( University of Forthare & Walter Sisulu University) and a recently established Gqeberha Unisa Library. 

The libraries houses over 17 000 information resources, and 30 computers for student to access and download electronic resources including E-books. perform literature searches and research work.

The aim of this page is to introduce clients to the variety of library services the regional libraries offer, and create easy platforms of accessibility. 

Our variety of services are aimed at supporting students academic information needs, including research support and training, we also provide  services tailored for clients with special needs.

First Level Students - Academic & Assignment Writing SKills

Introducing library resources that can help you as a first year student, in understanding university's academic writing, structuring & presenting your written/essay assignments.

The library offers trainings on basic usage of computers, assignment preparations, reference techniques, and literature review, this support will ensure positive student performance on assignments.
