Launched in 2000 as a nonprofit educational venture promoting awareness of African Heritage in Classical Music. 52 composers, conductors and instrumental performers - Africans, African Americans and Afro-Europeans. AfriClassical Blog is a near-daily companion to the website.
Awesome Tapes from Africa
African music sourced by Brian Shimkovitz who gathers rare and hard-to-find cassettes from all over the continent. ATFA selections span decades and includes vintage mbalax, juju, bongo flava, disco-electro cuts, amongst many others, which are made available on this site as free downloads.
Domus
DOMUS promotes music in South Africa and Africa by collecting, preserving, ordering and cataloguing the music and documentary collections of composers, performing artists, musicologists and music institutions.

South African Music Archive Project
SAMAP aims to create an online resource on South African music and to promote multidisciplinary research in the field of popular music and culture. The site contains 13,000 audio samples and associated metadata from 5 music collections:

SASRIM
The South African Society for Research in Music (SASRIM) facilitates dialogue and collaboration between all researchers in music, within and beyond academia and the promotion, fostering and dissemination of such research. The Society operates as a nonprofit organisation exclusively for this object.
Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO)
SAMRO protect the rights of composers and authors (music creators) both locally and internationally. Collects licence fees from music users – television broadcasters, radio stations, in-store radio stations, pubs, clubs, retailers, restaurants and all other businesses that broadcast, use or play music.
South African Association for Jazz Education
Members come from all geographic regions of the country and include professional musicians and student members as well as music teachers from community projects, secondary and tertiary institutions.
NewMusicSA
NewMusicSA's mission is to bridge the historical divide between South African composers who have grown up in widely different compositional traditions, to promote exchange of ideas and music between composers nationally and internationally, and to encourage the composition, performance and dissemination of contemporary composition, in particular the work of South African composers.

An ad-supported UK-based site designed for anyone seeking live classical concerts and opera performances worldwide.
Boston Symphony Orchestra
watch and listen to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The archive of performances dates back to 2007, and visitors can read program notes from each performance and also sign up to receive their latest offerings via RSS feed or iTunes. The site has a number of fun surprises, such as "The Complete Symphonies" guide to the symphonies of Beethoven. Click on Media.

International Music Score Library Project
The International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP), also known as the Petrucci Music Library after publisher Ottaviano Petrucci, is a project for the creation of a virtual library of public domain music scores, based on the wiki principle. Since its launch on February 16, 2006, over 220,000 scores and 21,000 recordings for over 61,000 works by over 7,800 composers have been uploaded.

JazzWax
Marc Myers writes daily on jazz legends and legendary jazz recordings. Myers writes on music and the arts for The Wall Street Journal. He is author of "Why Jazz Happened" (Univ. of Calif. Press). Founded in 2007, JazzWax was twice named "Blog of the Year" by the Jazz Journalists Association.
New York Philharmonic Digital Archives
The Archives collections contain material dating back to the Philharmonic's first concert in 1842, but most of the content is from the International Era, 1943-1970. It is the time period with the greatest variety of formats to test assumptions about cross-searching; scores, programs, press clippings, business documents, images, film, audio and video.
