Gauteng Region understands the above very well and the library entered into partnership with Mogale City Municipality and City of Johannesburg  Municipality wherein  Unisa's registered students located in the jurisdiction of the municipalities could access and utilise some Unisa 's services through the Krugersdorp and Kagiso Libraries (Mogale City Municipality). and Diepkloof Zone 1,  Enmdeni, Jabavu and Orange Farm libraries.
