How to Request a Literature Search @ the Unisa Library
What is literature search?
A literature search is:
•a selected reading list on a research topic, needed by an undergraduate or postgraduate student, or staff member, to complete an assignment or research project, e.g. dissertation, thesis, conference paper, etc.; resources relevant to a research topic

How do students request a literature search?
•Click on Request a Literature search
•Scroll down to the form link. Save and complete the MSWord form and email it to: lib-search@unisa.ac.za
Please keep your reference number safe so you can follow-up on your literature search request at lib-search@unisa.ac.za if need be.

Please do not use the literature search request form to request books, articles, or law reports.

Yes, of course you can! We encourage you to do so, as this is a valuable, lifelong research skill. Get started with the easy Encore discovery tool platform available on the Library Catalogue.
