CEMS Harvard Referencing Style: Reference Management Tools

Introduction

There are various reference management tools that you can make use of, e.g.

  • RefWorks
  • Mendeley
  • Endnote
  • Zotero
  • Word

The library subscribes to RefWorks and a light version of Endnote, while Mendeley and Zotero are free software tools.

Only RefWorks has the official CEMS Harvard referencing style guide template that will populate your references according to the required style. It is therefore advisable to use RefWorks if you have to generate your in-text citations and list of references in this style. Duplicate the templates shown under each tab to create an exact reference for each reference type.

Both RefWorks and Mendeley have the APA 7th edition referencing style.
